Went here for the first time to pick up some muffins for a friend who was recovering from a hospital procedure. Great choices, good prices and most of tasty!

Great muffins, scones, morning rolls. Love Armida. Great neighborhood place to meet a friend for breakfast and coffee that isn't a chain. GO!!

I'm so glad I found this local bakery/coffee shop! They serve a variety of pastries and even some lunch options like sandwiches and tacos. I have a gluten allergy and they have some gluten free muffins and scones which were pretty good. There is definitely a mom and pop vibe and the patio outside is perfect to start your morning off.

The last few times I've been in, customer service has improved dramatically and has been consistent across the board. The food is excellent; Armida's is my favorite breakfast spot in Marin.

Just amazing! Saturday they had more delicious muffins than I've seen a a choice in a long time! Cranberry with cream. Delicious! Sunday went back and today it's all about delicate pastry with fillings. I mean from fruit tarts to walnut bun to many more!!

I lived in San Rafael off C street in the late 70's early 80's and was introduced at that time to Muffin Mania. OMG, the best and biggest and yummiest muffins I had ever tasted and killer strong coffee. It became a weekly go to place. I even purchased a Texas size muffin pan (still bake them to this day) Enough about the past, I popped in just a few days ago, for a nostalgic visit and was not disappointed. Bummer they no longer sell the Muffin Mania T-shirts. They are still making the giant yummy muffins. No longer $1.50, closer to $6, but dang, they are still delicious. Now many other delectable homemade treats are offered. Cute little seating area inside and out. The current owner is lovely and desperately needs our support. Keep Small Business Alive and Thriving. So if you are in the San Rafael area I HIGHLY recommend you pop in for a breakfast or lunch treat. Skip the name brand shops like oh you know Starbucks, etc. and support this neighborhood business.

Muffin Mania has been around forever in San Rafael, cute little cafe. The owner makes delicious everything besides muffins. Our son likes the breakfast burrito. The pastries are delicious and freshly baked muffins are abundant. Most of the locals know about this gem in the neighborhood, but with social media, everyone should know about this place. If you want to order more than a dozen muffins, be sure to call ahead. Armida will make them available for pickup. These muffins sell out fast in the mornings, you don't want to buy her out. Now open on Sundays - woohoo! There's also a cute patio that is dog-friendly with ample street parking. 'Til next time ~ cheers and see you on Yelp (SYOY)!

Muffin Mania is now "Armida's Kitchen at Muffin Mania." I hadn't been to Muffin Mania in a good few years and had forgotten about it, but now pass by that way twice a week. The old Muffin Mania must have passed on the old recipes, as some other yelpers have noted, because the muffins are still as good as ever. As I used to, I got a day-old--a deal at $2. It may have been a day old, but my apple muffin was moist and bursting with apples. I'll update my review after I try other offerings from Armida's kitchen. The menus is much more extensive. The pastries in the display case look delicious and reasonably priced. Edited to add: I finally discovered the lovely back patio! How did I miss it before. You walk under a flower arbor to find a fairly large shaded patio with gardens. Dog friendly!
